David Howell, European Tour and Ryder Cup Member

“The HSPSE coaching philosophy has helped me no end with my putting. Since adopting a wider stance and a more stable base I've become a much improved putter. If you get the chance to work with them I'd recommend it.”

“As a 30 + year PGA Member there had been four factors that I would consider defining moments, in my coaching development. All were  THAT important to the development of my Holistic approach to coaching, After meeting and learning from Harold and understanding the Harold Swash Putting  Information,  make that FIVE  defining moments.  It is information that has made me a better coach than ever before. An absolute must for anyone who wants to putt better or coach putting like the best.”

Just wanted to email you to tell you I won my frst event of the year, just a PGA medal but it was the first round I have had since the lesson.I putted very well which is different for me, so thank you very much for your help last week.

Simon English, Club Golfer

Just wanted to let you know my thoughts after the recent lesson, I know it is early days for such a testimonial, but in two months time when I've been cut instead of drifting up I might not have the time.

As a long term 6/7 handicap golfer I have always felt my long game was 2/3 handicap and my putting was at best 18. Sometimes my putting was good and other times awful but no matter what I did I couldn't improve consistency. In desperation I travelled for 5 hours to Southport (and another 5 hours back) and a one-on-one session with Phil Kenyon.

2 1/2 hours later I finally understood why I was a poor and inconsistent putter. At times the necessarily patient Phil had to re-iterate his explanations in order that I began to comprehend what I good putting stroke should feel like. A good mix of technical analysis, demonstration and practical application meant that eventually the light bulb went on. And boy how bright it is.

I had hoped that improving my putting stroke would take 2 shots off a round, making my bad rounds closer to buffer and my good ones a decent cut in handicap. Recent analysis makes me believe that 2 - 6 shots a round is the difference (I really was quite a poor putter) and even more importantly I approach every green positively. If I miss a makeable putt I know whether it was a bad read or a poor stroke (and most importantly I know why it was a bad stroke)

You may know by now that I am a huge fan of the principles taught by Phil at Harold Swash Putting and I would highly recommend a session for anyone wanting to improve their putting stats.

Kevin Harling, Club Golfer

Phil, Just a quick note of thanks for last week’s putting evaluation and lesson. My putting has improved immensely and I am already knocking on average, 6 strokes a round off my score. I have not 3 putted in 4 rounds now, including a pro-am.

I am sure that when my stroke gets embedded and my practice kicks in I will shave even more shots from my round. I will contact you in a few weeks to arrange a green reading lesson. Once again many thanks.

Dear Phil, what a wonderful afternoon I had with you yesterday. The best Christmas gift ever. I appreciated your expertise and the analytical and sensitive way you moulded my technique to produce a more consistent stroke. Thank you also for the fitting the new grip and the mirror to guide my improvements. I will keep you informed of my progression towards better putting. I will also come and see you again in 2009 for re enforcement and a top up on my new techniques. My best wishes to you , Harold and the team at  the putting center and I hope you continue to succeed with your future business ventures. Thanks once again.
