It was great to be at one of my favourite golfing locations this week. St Andrews is a magical place to be and has a special atmosphere. The weather however was not so special, cold winds, freezing temperatures and rain meant it was a quite couple of days over the practice rounds. From a product perspective the weather and the disjointed nature of the event (3 courses being used) meant there were very few guys trying or testing new equipment.

On the instructional side of things it was good to meet up again with Henrik Stenson having not seen him since the Dutch Open. Henrik has been practicing hard so it was good to catch up with him, see his progress, and move things forward. I also worked with Alex Noren at St Andrews, continuing where we left off from the work we have done over the last few weeks. Both guys have a great work ethic and application so its no surprise to see the success they both have.

Next week I wont be at the Madrid Open. Instead I will be attending the Munich Trade Show as Yes! Golf will be launching their new SWS shaft. The shaft that Darren Clarke won with in Holland this year and is also being used by Joost Luiten.

My next event will be the Portuguese Open in 2 weeks time.
